Laking National, which literally mean,
“having grown up with National Book Store”, was launched. The program
underscored the affinity of the company’s brand with its most valued and
loyal customers. Laking National was created to retain its most valuable
customers and provide additional value for the business they have given
National Book Store over the years. Members are given exclusive discounts on
selected items, exclusive privileges and services, as well as benefits from
partner establishments. |

| A magazine-type product
catalog showcasing the latest in school and office supplies is produced
yearly in time for the back-to-school season. The “Magalogue” is free
to any customer who wishes to browse and use it to make their shopping list. |

| “Passages”
was recently added to the list of communication tools for National Book
Stores’ partners in education. "Passages” is a National Book Store quarterly
magazine for reading educators. It’s an avenue to share information and
connect with the proponents of the benefits of reading. |

| To further support National
Book Store’s Purpose, the
National Book Store Foundation Inc. was
officially established in 2004. The foundation reaches out to people all
over the country and spreads the message that through reading and learning,
people can pursue their dreams and realize their life’s purpose. |

Although not new in selling
products online, National Book Store launched its new
e-commerce
site on October 2006. The new site enables National Book Store to reach more
customers on a global scale, bearing in mind Filipinos overseas who prefer
to send their support for their relatives through National Book Store’s
products of learning and creativity. |

created specifically for the choosy and trend-seeking teens. This new
product line ensures that teens have new and exciting designs of school
supplies and accessories to choose from. |

calendar features books and school and office supplies available at the
stores. Every year, new and exciting features are added to make the calendar
a more useful and effective communication and marketing tool. |
